What does the Veterans Consortium Do?
We work together to influence employers to adopt impactful policies that will make Ohio the employment destination for the military community.
Who are your Members?
Our members work in major corporations, small businesses, colleges, government agencies and non-profits.
How do you do that?
Our strategy is two-fold:
First, we empower our members to be more impactful in affecting change in their companies.
Second, we coordinate events to directly engage employers
Who do you serve?
We're here to help employers engage, develop, retain, and attract members of the military community which includes: Members of the Guard and Reserve, Active Duty / Full time servicemembers who are getting ready to retire or separate from service, or have done so in the last five years.

What does it mean to be a member?
Our members are the backbone of our organization. We ask that our members:
• Participate in good faith in projects and work efforts, which includes volunteering time and
talent outside of meetings
• Offer to host an event at least once every 12 months (note: requirement suspended
pending various COVID-19 protocols)
• Share a best practice with the community at least once every 12 months
• Be an ambassador in good-faith to the cause of the Veterans Consortium
New members requests must be approved by the existing member base.
How much does it cost to join?
There is no cost to join the Veterans Consortium.
